CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay

CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay is a collaboration project between Chiang Mai University (Thailand) and University of Mandalay (Myanmar). It provides study space and service on academic information along with general knowledge about Chiang Mai University. This will be benefit to University of Mandalay’s students, professors, and researchers for their study and research purposes. By supporting the financial aid, this project is under Chiang Mai University’s strategies to become a World Class University with International Cooperation.

The Project’s Main Principles

1. CMU develops CMU Corner for academic and research benefits of students, professors, and researchers of University of Mandalay
2. CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay supports and enhances collaborative academic partnership between Chiang Mai University and University of Mandalay
3. CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay has continuous and sustainable development
4. CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay is a CMU’s project represents sincerity to University of Mandalay

Objectives

1. To setup CMU Corner @ University of Mandalay for UM students, professors, and researchers with providing academic information and CMU information continuously and sustainably.
2. To support and enhance collaborative academic partnership between Chiang Mai University and University of Mandalay.

Scopes and contents

1. Academic publications from Chiang Mai University including textbooks, academic journals in both hardcopy and digital formats
   • 1.1 Academic publication in hardcopy from Chiang Mai University professors and researchers including research, academic documents, textbooks, and journals, and other academic publications from other sources
   • 1.2 Academic publication in digital media with online full-text journal and offline
2. Chiang Mai University bulletin with course catalog and course descriptions
3. Success stories and achievements from each departments in Chiang Mai University
4. Chiang Mai University Information including university overview and university facilities
5. Chiang Mai Province Information including Chiang Mai geography, local culture, tradition, and history in both print and digital media CMU Intellectual Repository (CMU IR) for e-Research, e-Theses, and e-Lanna
